I find beauty in everything and anything. I’m inspired by love, music, natural light, children, art, emotions, fashion, nature, people, and the list goes on. Simply put, I love capturing those moments that pass us by within a blink of an eye; those moments that should always be remembered even if you did not realize they existed. I do not just want to take a photo, I want to convey a feeling and turn them into beautiful works of art.

My name is Sheena Marie. I'm the owner and photogapher of Sheena Marie Photography. I'm also a wife, mother, aspiring stylist/designer, aspiring rockstar, and a full-time dreamer. Becoming a wife and a mother has really been an amazing journey for me, and not only does it inspire me everyday, it reminds me to always embrace every moment as they come our way. Which makes what I do even more meaninful than it already is.

My passion for photography sparked at a very young age. I've always had the urge to create. You could ask my family (especially my cousins who were my photoshoot guinea pigs), I always wanted to create and style a scene, and capture the moments that lie inbetween. Everything about photography excited me. It was something I knew that I wanted to do in life. As I got older the passion grew stronger, and it wasn't until my husband and I got together that I became truly motivated to make this a business. I thank him everyday for pushing me towards my dreams. I can truly say that I absolutely love what I do for my clients. I love being able to capture their memories and special REAL life milestones, so that they can look back on them forever and remember how they felt.

I feel that as a young woman who was once an excited fiancee planning her wedding, who was once an excited mommy to be with a growing belly and dreams of her little one, and is now a gal with a family all her own... I can really relate to my clients who are seeking to capture those special moments in their lives. I believe if you can empathize with your client, then it makes for amazing art that is special to them.

If you're wondering how a session with me would be and you're trying to grasp onto my personality... Well... I'm a fun, loving, empathetic, passionate, little rocker chick at heart ("Sheena is A Punk Rocker"). I'll definitely hug you upon meeting you (gotta have that ALOHA spirit). I love to laugh, I have a great sense of humor, and I'm a down to earth gal. I am great with children, and I am very patient. I absolutely strive to make my clients feel comfortable during their session with me. So, you can say a session with me is most likely to be laid back, fun, yet very productive! I like to roll with the punches when it comes to the day of shooting. I feel whatever works best for the client is how we should do it. I strive to make you feel your most comfortable with me, while capturing and creating something so beautiful for you. I know that we'll most likely be friends at the end of our session.
